Over 35 years ago Mobil Chemical invented the very first stretch film – it was called Mobil C Film and we sold it. Although it was an enormous breakthrough technology – truth is today you probably wouldn’t use it even if it was free.
Stretch film has continually improved and evolved at a rapid rate. Today 43 gauge, 51 gauge, 63 gauge are becoming the norm and performing significantly better than the 90 gauge films they replace.
